Our fab lotto committee who run the lotto each week are next in line for photos for club notes 📸 Without them there would be no Lotto which provides an income to the club to run our games, maintain our facilities.👏👏
⏰Clubhouse Opening Hours The Clubhouse opens at 5pm today and Saturday, opens Sunday 12.30pm.
Once again, all this weekends LGFA games will be broadcast on TG4 / TG4 Youtube –with the 🏐 Armagh v Kildare game at 2pm, best of luck to the team.
We start on Saturday - on GAA+ at 3.30pm 🏐 Kerry v Cavan , while 🏑 Dublin v Limerick throws in at 16.00pm (RTE) followed at 18.30pm by 🏐 Dublin v Cork (GAA+) 6.15pm and 🏑 Tipp v Galway at the same time (RTE). Thankfully we have 2 TVs !
On Sunday it’s all football again as we start with 🏐Down v Galway at 13.45pm (GAA+), 🏐Wicklow v Limerick at 2pm on RTÉ . 🏐Donegal v Louth at 4pm (GAA+) and game of the day 🏐Fermanagh v Kildare at 4pm on RTÉ. Best of Luck 🍀

What a great morning we had on Friday as we welcomed 3rd & 4th class students from St Anne’s Ardclough , Scoil Mochua and Scoil na Mainstreach in Celbridge to the club. They played 3 games - great skills , fun, treats, new friends made and most importantly… morning off school to play hurling. Huge thanks to Mr Tyrrell in St Anne’s and the Ms Walsh and Mr O’Donoghue for coaching the teams. We’re already planning next year !

It was the picture we were waiting on …. our fab Little Devils 😈feature below. Amazing work always happens in both our football and hurling nurseries… its where the magic starts ! These amazing future stars keep Louise and Sinead on their toes every week 🤩
It was straight to Kilcock and Suncroft on Friday for our 2 x U12 St Edward’s teams playing their D2 and D7 semi-finals. Well done to both teams who are now through to the final on Saturday 💪

Division 2 St Edwards
Then a quick dash 🚗over to Manguard Hawkfield where our Senior Hurlers played the D2 League Final, only going on to win 3-28 to 1-14 against Naas💪 Captain Sean Whelan accepting the trophy from Mick Mullen. Division 1 hurling secured for 2026 💪👏👏👏
Amazing and we still had the D3 final to come on Sunday ! With Saturday a wash out and our U11 festival of football postponed, it was a busy Sunday of hurling !
Our U7s hosted Maynooth at home for some great games and skills .
Our U8 hurlers held a blitz with teams from Western Gaels, Kill, Coill Dubh and Sarsfields travelling over to play our 2 teams. A fab morning with such great skills 🤩The future of Kildare hurling is very bright with 70 players participating in the blitz and huge thanks to Victoria for the goodie bag at the end🍬🍫
Our U9 hurlers travelled to Maynooth but the rain didn’t dampen the amazing skills on show 💪👏
And back at home our U11 hurlers hosted Faughs GAA 👏👏
Then it was back to Manguard Hawkfield for our Senior Hurling Division 3 League Final and another amazing performance from our team saw us secure the win against St Laurence's 4-16 to 1-10 - well done to the team and management 👏👏👏👏 Captain Darragh Walsh receiving the trophy from Mick Mullen
We’re not done yet ! Congratulations to the Senior Schools Hurling team in St Anne’s who won their division 2 final on Tuesday in Donore against Scoil Úi Riada Kilcock. Another trophy 🏆for the cabinet.. does Mr Tyrrell have any room left !! Special mention to the Ardclough - Rathmore Senior boys who had a very dramatic semi-final and lost by the smallest of margins. We heard you gave it your all and we are very proud of all our members playing with their schools and representing your clubs so well 💪
On Wednesday the Summer Leagues began in glorious sunshine with our U14 hurlers travelling to Donore to play Éire Óg Corra Choill (pictured below) and we had a team at home to Clane.👏👏 Lovely evenings for a game
And back at home at football training our U7s had a special star guest🤩… Conor Mortimer Mayo star put them through their paces .. watch out for these lads on the pitch next week🔥😨
On Thursday our St Edwards U16 team played Newtown Gaels. And our U10 camógs travelled to Kill for a challenge game, well done 🖤❤️💛
Our fixtures are winding down now for our younger players with Summer Leagues underway. Great to have these games over the summer to keep everyone playing. With lots of players away there are no finals just games and a bit of craic for the summer.
Our last competitive games of the Spring League are on Saturday for our 2 x U12 St Edwards teams who play in Coneff Park in Clane. Our D7 team play 1st at 14.45pm against Confey and our D2 play Monasterevan at 15.45pm – best of luck to the teams. Tickets available below:
And then our U13 hurlers are playing in Laois on Monday at 6.30pm against Barrow Gaels in their semi-final! Best of luck 🍀
Our Go Games are also winding down for the summer, with our U9 footballers home to Leixlip and U11 footballers playing Saturday, and our U8 and U10s traveling to Leixlip and Éire Óg. We have one final weekend next week.
Fixtures for the preliminary round of the Senior Hurling Championship were announced with our team playing Éire Óg Corra Choill on Saturday 28th June at 15.45pm in Cedral St Conleth’s.
U15s The Kildare U15 team hosted New York for two matches this week in Naas. Team captains Elwood McGreal (Ardclough) and Charlie Holton (Broadford) also had the honour of presenting Kildare jerseys to their New York counterparts.

Hard luck to our county hurlers, playing in terrible conditions on Saturday against Dublin to a packed Conleth’s. Not our day We’re already looking forward to next year.
Our footballers are back in action this week. Brian Flanagan and his management have announced the Kildare Senior Football Team to play Fermanagh, in the Tailteann Cup Semi Final in Croke Park, on Sunday 22nd June at 4pm.
Our camogs are away to Kerry at 2pm. And our LGFA team travel to Armagh at 2pm in round 3 of the championship. Best of luck 🍀
