Message from Kildare GAA ahead of this Sunday : This Sunday marks a historic occasion for Kildare GAA, as our Senior Hurling team takes to the field in Croke Park at 1:45pm to compete in their first ever Joe McDonagh Cup Final.

This is a massive achievement for the team, management, and everyone involved in Kildare Hurling. We are asking all clubs across the county to come together and show their support by encouraging members, players, and supporters to attend the game.

Let’s show our Senior Hurlers that the whole county is behind them. Cill Dara Abú!

On Monday our U14 D3 St Edwards team played Round Towers in the league final, all square at full time , and just lost 7-16 to 5-16 in extra time😟. Hard luck to the team , it was a cracking match and thanks to Fergus Sammon for keeping track of the scores for stressed parents on the sidelines 😅. It was great to see such a big turn out of supporters cheering on the team

Wednesday saw our U8 footballers in action against Clane at home, great 2 matches – the skills were amazing , a credit to your coaches 👏👏👏

These superstars in Little Kickers had great session with Siobhan, Seamus and all of their coaches on Wednesday. Amazing work goes on in both our nurseries on Wednesday and Friday from fundamental skills to game skills to fun and friends. This is where the magic starts 🪄that we see in all our games every week. We'll feature our Little Devils in next week Club Notes 🤗

We finished the week with a great game of hurling on Thursday with our D3 Senior Team playing Confey at home and in extra time coming away with the win – 4-22 to 4-18.👏👏👏
