It's the 2nd last week of Caman Lets Hurl with Michael and Emmet putting the boys and girls through their paces today ! Only one more early start for them, very proud of them getting our of bed extra early to play sports.

Really busy GAA weekend with the ๐ Nicky Rackard Cup, ๐ Lory Meagher Cup and ๐ Christy Ring Cup games all on TG4 Youtube channel on Saturday.
On GAA+ we have ๐ Cork v Kerry at 16.45pm and ๐ Tyrone v Mayo at 7pm . Then on Sunday ๐ Fermanagh v Wexford at 13.45 (GAA+) followed by ๐ Derry v Galway at 2pm (GAA+) with ๐ Dublin v Armagh on RTE at 4pm

๐Hurling Championship Draw
The UPMC Senior, Senior B, Intermediate and Junior Hurling Championships will take place on tonight at 6:00pm at UPMC, Clane (W91 W535). The draws will be broadcast live on Kfm Radio, with local media representatives in attendance on the evening. Our captain Sean Whelan and Darragh Walsh will represent Ardclough at the draw.
Ardclough are in Senior A group with Celbridge, Coill Dubh, Confey, Eire รg, Maynooth, Moorefield and Naas. And in Junior A with Cappagh , Clane 2, Coill Dubh 2, Leixlip 2, Moorefield 2, Round Towers.
๐Joe McDonagh Cup & Leinster Hurling Final โ June 8th
What a weekend next week will be โ Kildare playing Laois in the Joe McDonagh Cup Final๐คฉ. Itโs what dreams are made of for our players , supporters, young and old(er), all the many Ardclough players who represented our County at so many levels and all our young hurlers who take to the pitch each week. Kildare GAA are calling on all supporters to get behind the team and Leinster GAA are providing 20,000 children's tickets to the final.
The order from Ardclough has gone in and we are really excited to head to Croke Park that day ๐ค๐ค๐ค

With secondary school finished today ๐ (seriously already !) for our 1st , 2nd, 4th and 5th years, we want to wish our members and supporters the best of luck in their Junior and Leaving Cert next week.

๐๐On the pitch this week What a way to finish a week. Our two U12 hurling teams were in action on Friday night in their D1 and D4 semi-finals. ๐ฐ
Our D4 team played St Cocaโs in a great game at home coming away with a win 7-5 to 1-2.
Over in Maynooth, there was no thought of nerves as the boys from both teams served up a cracking match๐ฐ. 4 points down at half time the team fought back to get all square, and then a free , turned into a 65 and the game finished 2-9 to 2-10. Both U12 teams now play in the finals โ D1 v Naas and D4 v Maynooth on Saturday 7th June in Clane.๐๐
We had no football on Saturday with low numbers meaning no game for our U7s , our U9s played during the week and our U11s played Cappagh on Thursday in a great game at home.
On Sunday , our U8 hurlers played the most favoured fixture in the calendar ๐as they travelled the short distance to neighbours, friends and school mates in Celbridge.
Our U10s took on Naas at home, well done๐๐๐
And our U11 camogs travelled to a blitz to play Leixlip, Kill and Celbridge just escaping the downpours !
Over in Naas our U13 D1 camogs had a great game against Naas in their semi-final which sees them through to the final against Clane this Sunday.๐๐๐
On Monday our U14 D4 hurlers travelled to St Laurenceโs to play Clane in the League Final winning 1-12 to 1-4 ๐๐๐ Captains Sean Houston & Donnacha Flynn accepted the trophy for the team. Great speeches โญand well done everyone๐๐ช
๐ Camogie Birthday Our U11 / U10 / U9 team ! celebrated their 2nd birthday this year from when they first came together for training ! Keeping our numbers growing ๐ชalways a good sign ๐ and never not a good time for cake ๐ฐ
๐ซCumann na mBunscoil It was a very busy week in St Anneโs last week and this week for Mr Tyrell and the teachers with the Senior Hurlers and Camogs playing last Friday and the Senior Boys Football, Senior Girls and U10 Boys Football finals all on this week.

Hard luck to this crew .. U10 boys and Mr Fitzgerald, it wasn't to be but reports from the game are that you played your hearts out and we are very proud of all our boys๐คโค๏ธ๐ On Wednesday our U13 hurlers headed to Ballyfin for their Laois fixture. Well done to the team on a win 2-8 to 0-4 which sees them in 2nd place with one game remaining.
Over in Allenwood our U14 St Edwardโs D3 team played their semi final against Alymer Gaels. Down at half time they turned the game around in the 2nd half with a 2-11 to 1-18 win. They now play their final v Round Towers on bank holiday Monday๐๐๐

We have a quiet weekend ahead with the bank holiday. Our U12 St Edwards team play Clane tonight in Clane. Our U8 football game v Clane from Saturday has moved to Wednesday and U10 football postponed.
On Sunday our hurling Go Games are postponed due to bank holiday.
Best of luck to our U13 camogs playing their final in Clane on Sunday at 1pm โ call in if you are around and support them ๐๐
And our U12 hurlers travel to Malahide for a blitz โ enjoy the day ๐
Back to Senior games then next week as most of our underage leagues are finished. Our Senior D3 hurlers play Confey on Tuesday night in the league semi final at 8pm โ best of luck.๐
Next Saturday 7th our senior footballers play their last game against Ballykelly.
And save the date ! the Senior Hurling League Final v Naas is on 13th June at 8.45pm

U14s Great to see our Ardclough U14s in action against Wicklow, Laois and Westmeath last Saturday - well done to Adam, Ben, Tom , Nathan, Louis, Tom and Eoin. Missing Niall .. who is just back from injury during the week ! Celtic Challenge Well done to Jack and Logan playing on the U17 Celtic Challenge team who won against Kerry in the semi final 2-17 to 2-13๐๐
